Supporting Dundas Since 1972

Dundas Community Services

We love Dundas, and we are dedicated to making a difference in our community.

Dundas Community Services is a registered charity and links those in-need with community resources and supportive programming. With a focus on seniors, Dundas’s largest demographic, we’ve been supporting our residents for over 50 years.

Dundas Community Services is partially funded by the City of Hamilton, federal and provincial grants, United Way, and generous donations by individuals and our community. Every penny supports your community: Give where you live!

Land Acknowledgment

Dundas Community Services acknowledges that the community of Dundas is situated upon the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Mississauga People. This land is covered by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, which was an agreement between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabek to share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. We further acknowledge that this land is covered by the Between the Lakes Purchase, 1792, between the Crown and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.

Today, Dundas and the City of Hamilton are home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we recognize that we must do more to learn about the rich history of this land so that we can better understand our roles as residents, neighbours, partners and caretakers.

We invite you to reflect upon this land acknowledgement, what it means to your personal story, and what the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action and the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Calls for Justice mean to you.

Dundas Community Services will be hosting its Annual Meeting on Thursday, June 20th, 2024 at 6pm. The location will be at the Dundas Museum and Archives 139 Park St. West, Dundas, ON  L9H 1X8
